An interesting, varied job, plenty of opportunity to do one-to-one, groupwork, some ‘pre-therapy’ informal support with families affected by imprisonment and those who are in prison, or have been released. IAHIP therapists currently work part-time in Bedford Row, which, as an organisation, is structured to work within a humanistic, integrative and person centred ethos. Some of the work would be within Limerick Prison where there is an increasing emphasis on therapeutic support.
